6/30/23 Update on Nourishment for South Bethany

Closure of Street Crossovers

As of Friday, June 30, the beach crossovers in South Bethany have been opened.

Approximately 800′-1000’ of the beach will remain closed off while shut down for the holiday, but it will not be an active construction zone.  For your safety, please do not enter any closed areas.

Please note: Beachfill activities will resume — including beach crossover closures — on Wednesday, July 5.

Updates for beach replenishment/nourishment are not readily available to our office. As stated in prior posts, schedules are subject to change based upon outside factors. Location of replenishment is up to the entity assisting in the nourishment’s completion and is out of our control.
