In the event of a cancellation tenants are responsible for the full amount of the original lease agreement. Only if we are able to secure a new renter for the assigned dates and full amount of their agreement will the tenant receive a refund of monies less a 15% penalty plus the processing fee. If the Landlord cannot be paid in full by the new renter, the original tenant will be responsible for the difference.
Properties are not required to have beach equipment for tenant use. It is possible that an owner or previous tenant has left items behind for others, but it is never guaranteed. We highly suggest bringing our own items for use. If it does not seem feasible to pack these items, you can rent them from companies such as but not limited to:

Properties in the town limits South Bethany can receive 2 additional street parking passes as long as the owner has provided them to us to maintain for the season.
Properties in the town Limits of Bethany Beach can receive 1 residential parking pass for in town Bethany as long as the owner has provided it to us to maintain for the season.
Properties in Bay View Park are only entitled to community parking passes that allow tenants to park at the front of the community on the west side of rt 1.
Properties outside of all town limits will not have parking passes provided other options for parking are listed below.

Bins must stay in containers if the property has them. Recycling can not be bagged, nor can trash and recycling be mixed in either container. Do not pile additional bags on top or next to containers as they will not be picked up. Utilize the trash schedule under guest information for the proper pick-up days.
Take pictures immediately of the grill and provide them to Sandcastle. Following the pictures clean the grill or call us to schedule a contractor to come out and do so.
It is possible that a property could have accumulated these items from the owners or prior tenants. We do not guarantee any will be in the home and suggest bringing these items. Items such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soap, detergents of any kind, shampoo, bodywash, etc. are not provided for your stay.
Check in starts at 3:00PM. Cleaners, Inspectors, Contractors, and Vendors all have to be completed with the property before we can allow tenants in. If the property is not ready at 3:00PM we have until 5:00PM to be on the premises. We do not provide guarantees on early check ins and if a property is available early, we will give you a courtesy call to let you know. Once the property is ready you will pick up all information needed at our office. If you will not arrive before our office closes call the office so we can advise you on our lockbox.
We do not provide late check outs and there is a $50.00 fee for every half hour you are late past check out time.
